Civil Ceremonies Ash Tree Barns
Ash Tree Barns is an approved Norfolk wedding venue and here, we celebrate love of all kinds.
Yes, this means that not only are we a beautiful venue for heterosexual marriages and civil ceremonies but we are also a proud gay wedding venue and we provide LGBT wedding packages too. If you want to marry in Norfolk, we’d be delighted if you considered our stunning countryside barn.
What to look for in a same sex wedding venue
We’re proud that for all of our wedding bookings, we provide:
- Flexibility – enabling proceedings to be done in whichever way suits the couple
- Honesty – if there is a particular ‘something’ that we can’t put in place, we’ll say so
- Welcoming – you can rest assured that the whole team at Ash Tree Barns remain professional and friendly at all times
- That little bit extra – if you would like recommendations on gender-neutral readings, or perhaps advice on how to answer any awkward questions that guests may have, we will absolutely do our best to help you both.
What is the cost of a registrar?
The average cost of a registrar to officiate at a civil partnership or marriage in an approved Norfolk wedding venue in 2019, inclusive of one marriage certificate is £616. A £100 deposit is required.
If you are a non-EEA (European Economic Area) national, the cost is likely to be £24 higher. Marriage certificates cost £11 each and are not automatically included in ceremony fees.
You won’t meet a registrar before your wedding day unless you book an ‘Ask a celebrant’ appointment. To be able to ask questions about the ceremony and learn what you can expect, it costs £38 for thirty minutes with a celebrant.
You will need to pay £11 for each marriage certificate, this cost is not included in the ceremony fees.
Approved venues (including outdoor ceremonies) also have their own fees which you’ll need to include in your budget.
